# Do imports consume credits?

Importing contacts or connections does not use credits or unlock their profiles.

For Starter and Premium plans, one credit is used when you open a profile in Aidentified. Exporting a profile you've already unlocked does not use another credit. If you export a profile you haven't unlocked, one credit is used. The same applies to profiles from an imported list: opening one uses a credit.

For Premium Unlimited and Enterprise plans, credits are used when you export profiles, not when you open them.
