Importing CSV Files

Understanding the Import Process

Aidentified uses your data solely for matching purposes to find and provide you with relevant matches and relationship pathways. Your data is not used to inform Aidentified's database.

Steps to Import a CSV File

  1. Prepare Your CSV File: Ensure your CSV file is ready and saved in your Downloads folder.

  2. Access the CSV Import Section: Navigate to the yellow box within the Import & Export tab of your Aidentified account and locate your file.

  3. Title Your Import: Assign a title to your import based on the group of people, such as "clients" or "prospects".

  4. Determine Connection Degree: Decide if you want these contacts to be considered first-degree connections by checking the appropriate box.

  5. Explore Additional Options: Choose to share your file with your team, or to add tags to matched profiles.

  6. Match Your Data: Using Aidentified's matching process, align your data with Aidentified's. At a minimum, provide first name, last name, and either an email address or phone number. Additional data points you can include are: home address, company name, company address, job title, and LinkedIn or Facebook URLs.

  7. Complete the Import: Click "Complete Import" to start the process. Aidentified will notify you via email once the import is complete.

Post-Import Actions

After the import is complete, proceed to the Prospect Finder and select the "Import Source" tab along the left-hand side. Here, you will find a section titled "CSV files" displaying all imported files. You can view the list of people from the imports, and explore second-degree connections through the "Get Introduced" feature.
