Downloading & Utilizing the Sidecar Extension

In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to download and effectively use the Aidentified Sidecar, a Google Chrome extension designed to enhance your LinkedIn and company web page experience.

Step 1: Download the Aidentified Sidecar

1. Open a new tab in your browser.

2. Type in "Aidentified Sidecar" in the search bar.

3. Click on the first search result to navigate to the Google Chrome store page for the Sidecar extension.

4. Click Add to Chrome.

5. Confirm by clicking Add Extension.

Step 2: Using the Aidentified Sidecar on LinkedIn

Once installed, you can use the Aidentified Sidecar while browsing LinkedIn:

1. Navigate to a person's LinkedIn profile.

2. The Aidentified Sidecar will appear on the right-hand side of your browser.

3. Click the blue AI button to view the individual's Aidentified profile directly from their LinkedIn page.

4. Click the arrow below the X to overlay the full Aidentified profile over LinkedIn.

5. Gather additional household, professional, and wealth data without switching between Aidentified and LinkedIn.

Step 3: Using the Aidentified Sidecar on Company Web Pages

The extension is also useful on company web pages:

1. The AI button will appear on the right-hand side of your screen.

2. Click the button and then the building icon to expand the Sidecar.

3. View an overview of the company, including industry, and whether it is public, private, or non-profit.

4. See established relationships within the company, employee locations, education, and job titles.

5. View your first and second-degree relationships to identify potential network introductions.

6. Click See U.S. Employees to transfer employees to the Prospect Finder and apply further filters.
